De Buitenpoorter has a large kitchen including kitchen appliances. You could prepare your own food but a caterer could use facilities in the kitchen. A separate area outside is reserved for barbecues. Caterers in the area are:

As a group, you can stay in self-catering basis, but you can also use our bar. The bar can be filled for you with soft drinks and beer. You can choose to use the beer tap. You need to inform us should you wish to make use of the bar including the number of barrels. The consumptions will be calculated and charged afterwards.

Shopping can be done at “De Vijverhof” in Avenhorn, which is about 2 kilometers away. This shopping area contains all basic needs. The major high streets shops, such as Hema, Deen supermarket, Lidl and pharmacy are located here. But you could also decide to make use of grocery delivery through Spar supermarket in Ursem. Fresh bakery products can be delivered through Bakery Koning in Avenhorn. De Buitenpoorter is happy to assist you with any requests for delivery of products.
